Sometimes you just need an ambitious dessert to make it feel like the holidays. Also learned that sugared things are the easiest way to dress up a cake! This is the buche de noel cake from @theviewfromgreatisland but I made a whipped ganache for the middle. Will report back on taste!

Super easy, but you do need advance planning and make the dough the night before ( don't worry only requires mixing everything in a bowl). I used all-purpose flour and regular active dry yeast and it turned out fine!

May gave me the opportunity to nurture my inner old lady with some rose garden planning. I also found the perfect spring jeans and listened to Taylor Swift on repeat. Taylor was likely the reason I was drawn to rocking a cherry lip, but I'm always looking for a versatile red that can be layered, depending on how I'm feeling.
